Birds and liberty

Liberty is important for all animals, from dogs to mice. And of course encompasses birds including poultry.

But how do you give a chicken or duck liberty?

Well, free roaming time is important for them. But there is also the difficulty of keeping them safe in the process. How do we do this?

Supervision.

That's right. Watching your birds as they wander around is the best way to keep them safe.

Predators and consumption of foreign objects can be avoided with watching your flock.

Consumption of insects and local greens right in your chemical free backyard improve the quality of eggs. Being able to scratch and wander does wonders for their metal and physical health as well. Plus, it can cut down wildly on destructive and cannibalistic behaviors like picking, chasing, etc.
